About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever dreamed of bringing your talent to the beating heart of Dubai’s hospitality scene? Here’s your chance. Rove City Hotel in City Walk, right on iconic Sheikh Zayed Road, is urgently hiring for a variety of kitchen and front-of-house roles — from the first espresso of the morning to the final plated pastry at night. Whether you’re just starting out or an old pro in the industry, joining our vibrant team could be the fresh start (or the career leap) you’ve been waiting for.
About the Company
Rove City Hotel isn’t just where people stay — it’s where Dubai’s energy comes alive. Guests come for the unbeatable location but return for the genuine welcome and playful spirit our team shares. We believe in hospitality that feels local, fun, and, above all, real. Our open kitchen? Judged as much by laughter as by latte art. Friday breakfast croissants (on the house for staff) have become almost as legendary as our city views. If you thrive in fast-paced settings but love a little camaraderie with your coffee, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving guests as a Waiter/Waitress — from greeting tables with a smile to remembering regulars' favorite orders.
- Crafting specialty coffees and signature brews as our Barista, dialing in the perfect grind and milk swirl.
- Baking daily as a Pastry Baker — think flaky croissants, decadent tarts, and the scent of chocolate first thing in the morning.
- Rolling and presenting fresh sushi as a Sushi Chef/Commis Chef, following our chef’s inventive recipes but always adding a pinch of your own style.
- Keeping the kitchen spotless as a Dishwasher — the unsung hero behind every great meal.
- Collaborating with colleagues, sharing the workload, and pitching in when and where it’s needed (teamwork here isn’t just a buzzword).
What You’ll Bring
- Positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to keep cool when orders are flying in.
- For chef and baker roles: passion for food, willingness to learn, and a knack for presentation.
- For service and barista roles: a people-first mindset, clear communication, and a friendly presence.
- Previous experience is great, but being eager and open to learning is just as valuable here.
- Must already be in the UAE and ready to start soon.
- Comfort working flexible shifts — hotels never really sleep, and neither do the opportunities here.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- FREE: work visa, shared accommodation, and daily transport — letting you focus on your craft, not your commute.
- Competitive salary ranging from AED 2,500 – AED 7,000, depending on your experience and the position you fill.
- Staff meals, with plenty of chances to taste what the kitchen’s cooking up (yes, even the desserts!).
- A fun, diverse team that celebrates wins and helps each other grow — seriously, some of our best friendships started on shift.
- Opportunities for on-the-job learning and internal promotions — if you want to rise through the ranks, we’ll show you how.
- All the buzz, color, and excitement of one of Dubai’s most iconic areas, just outside your door.
You’ll be surrounded by passionate people, energetic guests, and endless opportunities to sharpen your skills. If you’re ready for genuine hospitality in a team that feels like family, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Rove City Hotel crew.
Please note: A recruitment application fee applies. Applicants must currently be in the UAE.
