About the Family & Our Home
We’re not just looking for help — we’re looking for a new addition to our home. Ours is a busy but welcoming house, where laughter is as common as cups of tea. We believe in treating everyone with respect, sharing stories over meals, and putting family (yours and ours!) first. Our days are a mix of routines, surprises, and a few lovable pets thrown in. We value honesty, dependability, and a little bit of humor to get us through the inevitable surprises of daily life.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keep the home sparkling clean: dusting, mopping, and deep cleaning as needed, with special attention to kitchens and bathrooms.
- Stay on top of laundry and ironing, making sure everything is crisp and fresh (even that stubborn pile of shirts).
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking (don’t worry, you don’t have to be a chef, but an appetite for trying recipes helps!).
- Look after an elderly family member with warmth and patience, assisting with simple daily tasks and companionship.
- Do the weekly grocery shopping and run small errands (like picking up prescriptions or parcels).
- Care for pets with a loving touch—feeding, simple grooming, and the occasional walk.
- Keep the household organized—putting things in their right place and helping life run a little smoother for everyone.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar household role
- Able to handle cleaning, laundry, and ironing with confidence
- Basic cooking and meal prep skills (or the willingness to learn on the job)
- Comfortable providing kind, respectful support to elderly family members
- Trustworthiness, reliability, and a sense of initiative
- Good spoken English — other languages are a plus!
- Love for pets and willingness to help care for them
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in Dubai or the Gulf region
- Valid references from past employers
- Additional language skills (Tagalog, Hindi, Arabic, etc.)
