What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
Depending on your role, you’ll get the chance to:
- HSE Officer:
- Champion site safety, conduct walk-throughs, coach crew on best practices, and ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations.
- Fabrication/Welding Supervisor:
- Oversee complex metalwork and welding projects, coordinate teams, check alignments, and own quality standards from start to finish.
- Foreman (Structural/Piping/Welding):
- Lead specialized crews, manage shift schedules, translate drawings into action, and be the go-to for on-the-ground problem solving.
- Fabricators (Structural/Piping):
- Interpret fabrication drawings, prep and assemble structures or piping, and keep your measurements razor-sharp.
- Welders (SMAW, FCAW, GTA):
- Execute top-notch welds, carry out rigorous NDT requirements, and step up for those tricky positional or multi-process joints.
- Scaffolders & Riggers:
- Erect safe scaffolds, plan lifts, and keep everyone clear on “what’s next” when it comes to movement of materials or people.
- Carpenters, Electricians, AC Technicians:
- Handle specialized fit-outs, electrical installations, and HVAC maintenance — each with a focus on reliability and safety.
- Marine Roles:
- Support quay-side or onboard operations, maintain equipment, and keep workflows efficient on and off the vessel.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Must-Haves:
- Relevant work experience in your trade (industrial, port, or shipyard experience a plus)
- Trade certification or recognized training for your area (e.g., welding certs, scaffolding tickets, HSE diploma)
- Dedication to safety and quality — in other words, you look out for your team
- Ability to read drawings (for technical roles) and follow work instructions
- Team player attitude; you communicate well (even under pressure)
- Willing and able to work shifts, including occasional weekends or overtime
Nice-to-Haves:
- UAE experience or familiarity with local standards
- Multi-skill flexibility (e.g., welding + fitting, or rigging + scaffolding)
- Basic English or other language skills for team/instruction clarity
