About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever fixed a stubborn printer or saved the day with a well-timed password reset? As our next IT Technician in Deira, you’ll be the go-to problem solver for all things tech — bridging the gap between people and the systems they rely on. In a fast-paced work environment where uptime matters, your knack for troubleshooting and proactive support will make you a real hero to our team. If you enjoy keeping things running smoothly and genuinely helping people, this could be the perfect fit.

About the Company

Nestled in the heart of Deira, our company is a close-knit team that believes technology should empower, not frustrate. We’re growing steadily, blending traditional values of customer service with a forward-thinking approach to IT. Here, every team member’s voice is valued, and Friday afternoons often turn into impromptu brainstorming sessions (with plenty of snacks on hand). We enjoy rolling up our sleeves, collaborating openly, and celebrating both small wins and big milestones.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing friendly and responsive technical support to staff, tackling issues both big and small — from frozen screens to network hiccups.
  • Installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement or preventive maintenance.
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and security protocols to keep data safe and accessible.
  • Assisting with setup of new workstations and onboarding tech for new hires — making sure their first day is glitch-free.
  • Keeping organized records of support requests, solutions, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Liaising with third-party vendors or service providers for hardware repairs or software updates when needed.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest tech trends so you can suggest smarter solutions or improvements.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar support role.
  • Solid understanding of Windows and/or Mac OS, common office software, and networking basics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues with patience and clarity.
  • Comfortable communicating technical info to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience supporting cloud-based systems or VoIP phones.
  • Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and inclusive, team-first culture.
  • Support for ongoing learning — whether it’s a new certification or time set aside for self-development.
  • Friendly office atmosphere in Deira, with occasional remote work flexibility.
  • Clear pathways for career growth as our company expands.
  • Regular team events (think pizza lunches and tech trivia), plus a stocked pantry for midday fuel.
  • Your input matters — we encourage new ideas and reward initiative.

Here, you’re more than just “tech support.” You’ll be valued for your expertise, your creativity, and your willingness to help others succeed. If you’re ready to make a difference — and have a little fun along the way — we can’t wait to meet you.
