About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever pictured yourself steering a dynamic marketing team right in the heart of the UAE? If you’re a strategic thinker who thrives on building business connections, leading diverse teams, and making things happen, this Marketing Director role in Al Yarmook, Sharjah might just have your name on it. With a strong emphasis on communication and relationship-building, this isn’t a “behind-the-scenes” gig — you’ll be front and center, driving results and shaping the company’s future in a fast-evolving market.
About the Company
We're a growing enterprise with roots firmly planted in the UAE — a place where fresh thinking is valued just as much as experience. Our team hails from all corners, united by an entrepreneurial spirit (and, if we’re being honest, a competitive streak on company game nights). The office rhythm mixes focused collaboration with the occasional burst of creative chaos; there’s plenty of opportunity here to make your mark, especially as we aim for ambitious growth. Fridays see us comparing stories over tea, but when the week kicks off, we’re all-in on chasing targets and building something lasting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and negotiating new business opportunities across the UAE market, with a sharp eye for sustainable growth.
- Managing key client relationships — building trust, understanding their needs, and delivering on promises.
- Leading, motivating, and developing the marketing and sales team, ensuring everyone’s both challenged and supported.
- Overseeing operational goals: translating company targets into actionable plans, then executing on them with energy and precision.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth delivery from pitch through to execution.
- Staying up-to-date with local market trends (and sometimes educating the rest of us about what’s just around the corner).
- Reporting to senior leadership on progress, highlights, and hurdles — keeping the lines of communication clear and constructive.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Valid UAE driving license (you’ll need to be out and about meeting clients).
- Fluent in English and Hindi — you switch between both with ease.
- Extensive experience leading marketing teams, preferably in the UAE market.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with a knack for turning a “maybe” into a “let’s get started.”
- Strong sense of ownership—comfortable in a role where targets, deadlines, and team morale are all in your remit.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Existing network in the Sharjah business community.
- Previous experience working in Al Yarmook or similar neighborhoods.
