About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to walk into a building and know, just by the hum of its systems and the subtle lines of its structure, that it’s safe, efficient, and built to last? As a Mechanical Engineer (Code Compliance & Site Inspection) at Building Rank Group, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping Dubai’s soaring skyline—one code-compliant inspection at a time. If you’re passionate about turning technical expertise into real-world safety and performance, and you thrive in fast-moving environments, this opportunity might feel tailor-made for you.

Our teams are united by a genuine concern for the built environment and a hands-on, collaborative spirit. Whether it’s a high-rise residence, a bustling shopping center, or an industrial facility, our engineers treat every inspection as a mission to protect, improve, and inspire confidence. Here, technical debates over coffee are a daily occurrence, and “good enough” just isn’t in our vocabulary.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Review mechanical systems for compliance with local codes, regulatory standards, and client requirements
- Prepare thorough reports outlining inspection findings, including visual documentation and actionable recommendations
- Liaise directly with property managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to address non-conformities and resolve on-site challenges
- Stay current with Dubai Municipality regulations, fire codes, and industry best practices — then translate that knowledge on-site
- Participate in pre-inspection planning and post-inspection meetings, making sure all voices are heard and technical solutions are practical
- Sometimes, jump in to mentor junior engineers or support special evaluation projects—we’re team players to the core
- Maintain organized records and contribute to process improvements (your suggestions won’t just end up in a pile!)
