About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the kind of engineer who thrives when your boots hit the construction site, not just behind a desk? We’re looking for a proactive Mechanical/MEP Site Engineer who’s eager to roll up their sleeves and bring expertise to a major villas project right here in the UAE. With projects scaling up and demand for skilled professionals at an all-time high, this is your chance to leave your mark—and join a collaborative team that values precision, practical knowledge, and, frankly, people who know how to get things done.
About the Company
Picture a team that debates piping routes over strong coffee and loves a challenge just as much as a smooth handover—welcome to our construction and MEP company. We’ve carved out a reputation for delivering complex residential projects with thoughtful design and rigorous standards (and a stubborn streak when it comes to the details). Right now, we’re focused on creating sophisticated villa communities that blend efficiency with comfort. Around here, initiative is welcomed, and there’s always someone around to answer, “What if we tried it this way?” Our team huddles up on-site, shares ideas freely, and yes, occasionally brags about whose zone inspection went the smoothest.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily site activities for all mechanical and MEP works on a large-scale villa project—think HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and the lot.
- Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to keep schedules (and budgets) on track.
- Reviewing technical drawings and making sure installations match project specs and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting design and installation issues on-site with a can-do, solution-focused approach.
- Preparing and submitting progress reports, material requisitions, and site documentation.
- Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks; if you spot a snag, you’ll drive the fix.
- Working closely with project managers, architects, and, yes, the occasional demanding client.
- Supporting handover and commissioning activities—including punching those all-important snag lists.
- Using AutoCAD for updates and modifications (if you’re handy in it).
- Ready to respond quickly? Ability to join immediately or on short notice is a key here.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on MEP/mechanical engineering experience in the UAE construction scene, particularly with large-scale villa or residential projects.
- Solid grasp of site operations, MEP systems, and construction best practices.
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to juggle changing priorities without flinching.
- Communicative and collaborative approach—you’re comfortable driving meetings and heading into the thick of things.
- Availability to start ASAP or within a short notice period.
Nice-to-Haves
- A valid UAE driving license.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience coordinating with local authorities for inspections and approvals.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary: AED 5,000 to 8,000, depending on your expertise and what you bring to the team.
- Be part of headline-making projects—our sites are shaping up to be showpieces across the UAE.
- Friendly, supportive colleagues who genuinely care (and appreciate good on-site banter).
- Opportunities to learn, influence, and grow—if you’re ambitious, you’ll find room to move up.
- Open communication and approachable leadership.
- On-site and occasional office flexibility—no two days are the same.
- Recognition for initiative: we notice and reward those who go the extra mile.
We believe in empowering our team and creating an environment where everyone’s input matters. If you’re passionate about delivering quality—and ready to make an impact from day one—this is where you want to be.
