About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever picture yourself breathing new life into raw materials, transforming wood and steel into eye-catching displays seen all over the city? As a Painter — or as a vital helping hand — with In & Out Advertising, you’ll do just that. We’re on the lookout for both a seasoned Painter (especially someone who really knows their PU & NC paints) and a reliable Helper to keep our projects running smoothly in Mussafah 9, Abu Dhabi. If you have a flair for detail or love seeing your handiwork become part of something bigger (literally!), this could be your next rewarding career move.
About the Company
At In & Out Advertising, we’re not just about billboards and signs — we’re makers, problem-solvers, and collaborators who turn big ideas into tangible displays. Our workshop in Mussafah is a hive of creativity, where wood, steel, and fabrication projects come to life for everything from major events to bustling retail spaces. We’re a close-knit team who believes in straight talk, lending a hand when things get hectic, and celebrating each project win (sometimes over strong coffee or an impromptu lunch). With a steady flow of challenging work and a team that has your back, you’ll feel at home from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
Painter
- Preparing surfaces — wood, metal, or mixed materials — for flawless paint adhesion
- Expertly applying PU (Polyurethane) and NC (Nitrocellulose) paints with a high-quality finish, whether by spray gun or brush
- Mixing and matching paint colors for custom requirements, ensuring consistent shade and texture
- Handling minor repairs, smoothing surfaces, filling joints, and sanding as needed before painting
- Maintaining tools and workspaces, keeping everything organized and safe
- Reviewing project briefs, collaborating with fabricators and designers to meet tight deadlines
- Assisting with occasional on-site installations at events or client locations
Helper
- Supporting the Painter with prep work: sanding, cleaning, taping, and moving materials
- Mixing paints, carrying finished pieces, and helping to set up job sites
- Handling cleanup, waste disposal, and the care of tools and equipment
- Pitching in wherever needed — no two days are exactly alike!
