We’re currently looking for a skilled Painter to bring their expertise to our woodwork and home décor team in Mussafah 36, Abu Dhabi. What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing wood surfaces for painting, staining, or polishing with precision and care
- Applying paints, finishes, and polishes to various types of furniture and custom pieces
- Touching up and repairing existing finishes, breathing new life into well-loved items
- Mixing and matching colors and finishes to meet our clients’ specifications
- Collaborating with carpenters, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless results
- Maintaining painting equipment and your workspace with the same pride you put into your work
- Keeping track of materials and notifying the team when supplies are running low
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Experience painting woodwork, furniture, or interior décor items
- A good eye for color, detail, and finish — you know when it “just looks right”
- Solid skills in sanding, surface prep, and applying varnish, stain, or paint
- Knowledge of different painting tools (spray, brush, roller) and techniques
- Ability to work independently, take feedback, and meet deadlines
- Eligibility to work in the UAE and willingness to be based in Mussafah 36
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in a custom furniture or high-end décor workshop
- Familiarity with trendy or specialty finishes (distressing, high gloss, metallics, etc.)
- Some basic communication skills in English, Hindi, or Arabic
