About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking to step into a role where every day brings a new challenge and a real sense of accomplishment? As our new Project Engineer in the heart of Dubai’s Al Quoz district, you’ll not only help shape city skylines—you’ll get hands-on in projects that move fast and require real ingenuity. If you thrive on variety, complex coordination, and seeing tangible results, this could be the perfect spot for you. (Plus, Dubai’s energy isn’t just in its buildings; it’s in the people who make them happen.)
About the Company
We’re a close-knit construction team that believes good projects start with good people—and that open, honest communication matters as much as technical know-how. We’re known for jumping into every new challenge with both boots and hard hats on, and we’re growing fast from a mix of major developments and specialist builds across Dubai. Our team culture? You’ll find plenty of friendly debates over design choices, group site walks that double as team-bonding, and Friday lunches that sometimes turn into mini project retrospectives. If you like colleagues who challenge you (and have your back), you might just find your niche here.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating day-to-day project activities and ensuring everyone’s aligned—no two days (or sites) are exactly alike
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports, so decision-makers have the right info at the right time
- Taking the lead in supervising site operations with a focus on safety and quality
- Managing relationships—and contract terms—with a diverse mix of local subcontractors
- Reviewing technical drawings and plans, flagging issues or innovative solutions before anyone hits the ground (literally)
- Monitoring compliance with project specs, industry codes, and the sometimes-quirky Dubai regulations
- Supporting project timelines from foundation to finish, proactively catching delays and suggesting fixes
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in construction project engineering, ideally in the GCC region
- Solid grasp of technical drawings, site supervision, and common project management tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Strong communication skills—you know when to speak up and when to listen
- A can-do attitude (and a knack for solving problems before they become crises)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience managing fit-out or high-rise projects in Dubai
- Familiarity with local municipality regulations and permitting processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit
- UAE driving license
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Two-year Dubai residency sponsorship—we handle the red tape, so you can focus on your career
- Comprehensive health insurance for peace of mind
- A collaborative, no-drama team that values input at every level
- Ongoing training and chances to step up as you grow
- Al Quoz location—close to the action, with easy transport links

It’s not just about the projects—it’s about building your future alongside people who want you to succeed. Please note: Our recruitment partner charges a one-time application fee, but we’re committed to transparency and support every step of the way.
