About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to help launch Dubai’s next big dining destination from the inside out? If you’re passionate about food, people, and the thrill of opening something new, this could be your moment. Our brand-new restaurant and café in the dynamic Sheikh Zayed area is gathering a tight-knit admin team—Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and HR Officer—to set the foundation for memorable guest experiences (and a pretty great workday, too).
About Us
We’re not just another eatery opening among the urban sprawl. Our founders come from diverse backgrounds—design, hospitality, and even a hint of homegrown culinary traditions—driven by a shared belief: good food brings people together, but great service keeps them coming back. While our kitchen is gearing up to wow Dubai’s foodies, our front and back-of-house teams are building a culture where ideas (and maybe the occasional new recipe suggestion) are always welcome. Fridays usually end with staff tasting sessions, and yes, we take coffee breaks seriously.
What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on your experience and preferred focus, you could take on one of these administrative pillars:
- Restaurant Manager: Oversee daily operations with a steady hand—everything from guest relations, team motivation, and coordinating smooth service to troubleshooting hiccups before they reach the front of house.
- Assistant Manager: Step in as right-hand to the manager, helping with scheduling, supplier coordination, handling feedback, and making sure the dining room and kitchen flow as one.
- HR Officer: Orchestrate the behind-the-scenes work—onboarding new hires, supporting training, resolving team issues, and helping shape a workplace that feels welcoming for all.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers to keep things running seamlessly.
- Foster an upbeat, solutions-oriented environment that helps both staff and guests feel at home.
- Jump in wherever the action is—whether it’s smoothing a guest experience, troubleshooting tech issues, or brainstorming the next staff event.
