Welcome! Join Our New Restaurant Team in Al Rigga, Dubai
Have you ever wanted to play a key role in launching a buzzing new restaurant? Here’s your chance. We're assembling an energetic crew for our fresh-out-of-the-oven eatery right in Al Rigga — one of Dubai’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Whether you’re happiest behind the grill, perfecting a latte, or bringing a smile to every guest’s face, we have a spot for you. With competitive salaries and an exciting work environment, there’s never been a better time to start something new.
About Us
We’re not your average chain or a copy-paste concept — we're a locally owned, independent restaurant passionate about genuinely good food, memorable experiences, and warm hospitality. Our core team is small but mighty, blending seasoned professionals with up-and-coming talent. We believe in hands-on teamwork, open kitchens, and maybe a little friendly rivalry over who can create the best staff meal. Fridays are for menu tastings (and laughs), and we love seeing everyone’s personality shine through their work.
What You’ll Be Doing
(We’re hiring Chef, Sous Chef, Barista, and Waitstaff — please see which fits you best!)
- As a Chef: Plan and craft our core menu, experiment with seasonal specials, lead the kitchen team in prepping and plating, and keep quality consistent even during hectic hours.
- As a Sous Chef: Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, manage stock and inventory, coach junior staff, and step up confidently when you need to lead.
- As a Barista: Prepare coffee drinks and other beverages to order, keep the coffee station sparkling, and engage guests with warmth and expert recommendations.
- As a Waiter/Waitress: Welcome guests with a smile, take accurate orders, serve food and drinks promptly, and turn every table into a great experience worth coming back for.
- Stay tuned to customer feedback — we always want to hear what’s working and where we can improve.
- Pitch in wherever things get busy — teamwork isn’t just a buzzword here.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Relevant experience in your position: kitchen experience for chefs, prior barista work for baristas, and front-of-house know-how for waitstaff.
- Legal eligibility to work in the UAE.
- Basic English communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues (Arabic or additional languages are a plus!).
- Positive, can-do attitude — we believe skills can grow, but kindness is essential.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous opening experience in a new restaurant.
- Barista certifications (for baristas), culinary diplomas (for chefs), or fine dining experience.
- Familiarity with popular POS systems.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

- Uniforms provided and laundered.
- Opportunities to advance as we grow — new restaurants mean fast-tracked progression.
- Close-knit team: you’re more than just an employee; you’re part of our story.

Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Can you walk us through a time you managed a busy service rush in your previous role, and how you maintained quality and calm under pressure?
- For chef candidates: How do you approach designing a new menu, and what inspires your seasonal specials?
- For barista applicants: How do you ensure consistency in your coffee beverages during peak hours, and can you describe your process for dialing in an espresso machine?
- For waitstaff: When was a time you turned a guest’s negative experience into a positive one? What did you do specifically?
- Tell us about your experience training or mentoring junior team members. What approach do you use to help them grow?

- This is a brand-new opening. How would you handle the unpredictability and challenges that come with launching a new restaurant?
- Our team values stepping in to help wherever needed, not just sticking to your own station. Can you share an example where you supported colleagues outside your regular duties?
- Have you ever contributed to a menu tasting or team feedback session? What did you learn, and how did it impact your work?
- Our guests come from all over the world. How do you ensure clear and friendly communication, especially if you and a guest don’t share a first language?
- We believe that kindness and a positive attitude matter as much as technical skill. Can you tell us about a time you brought positivity or humor to your workplace?
- Working in a small, close-knit team can involve a little friendly rivalry. How do you handle differences of opinion with colleagues while keeping things productive and fun?
- What motivates you to work in hospitality, and how do you see yourself growing as our restaurant grows?
- Why does our locally owned, independent style and open kitchen approach appeal to you compared to a large chain environment?
