About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking for your next step in hospitality leadership? If you thrive on the buzz of a busy restaurant and genuinely enjoy bringing out the best in others, this could be a fantastic fit. We're hiring a Restaurant Supervisor for our lively spot in Deira, Dubai — and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to dig in, lead by example, and help shape memorable guest experiences. With Dubai’s food scene as dynamic as ever, this is an opportunity to make your mark and grow with a passionate team.
About the Company
We’re a well-established restaurant tucked in the heart of Deira, known for our welcoming atmosphere and commitment to consistent quality. Here, our staff is more like family than colleagues — you’ll quickly spot ‘in-jokes’ flying across the kitchen, and no birthday goes unnoticed (cakes and all). We pride ourselves on supporting team growth; many of our supervisors started as waiters and climbed the ladder by taking initiative and working together. Friday evenings are our busiest — and also the most fun, with everyone pulling together and celebrating the wins, big or small.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily front-of-house operations — making sure things run smoothly from opening to closing.
- Creating and adjusting staff schedules to match peak hours and ensure excellent coverage.
- Jumping in to resolve guest concerns or complaints, always with patience and a personal touch.
- Coordinating closely with the kitchen team to optimize communication and minimize wait times.
- Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards throughout the dining and preparation areas.
- Keeping a watchful eye on inventory, flagging shortages, and placing timely orders as needed.
- Guiding, training, and motivating new and existing staff — from service techniques to upholding company values.
- Pitching in on the floor, especially during rushes; you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within a busy restaurant.
