About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the kind of person who knows exactly how many items are on a shelf — without having to double check? If so, you might be the Storekeeper we’re looking for. This isn’t just a job managing boxes in a backroom — it's an essential role, ensuring that our operations in Al Quoz run like clockwork. If you thrive on precision and your friends marvel at your organization skills, you’ll feel right at home here (and maybe even teach us a thing or two!).
About the Company
We’re a busy, close-knit team based in Al Quoz, Dubai, working behind the scenes to keep things moving for a growing company that believes every process matters and every employee can make a difference. Here, you won’t find endless layers of bureaucracy — just open communication and a genuine appreciation for attention to detail. We take pride in a clean, well-organized workspace and believe a tidy store is the engine of our success. (Psst: Our daily coffee break chats are actually legendary.)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Receiving incoming stock deliveries, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, and coordinating with suppliers when issues arise.
- Arranging, labeling, and stacking stock so that everything is easy to find — no digging through mystery boxes here!
- Updating inventory records in the system regularly and accurately, making sure our numbers match what’s on the shelves.
- Keeping a close eye on stock levels and proactively flagging when items run low so we’re never caught off guard.
- Preparing and organizing outgoing orders — from picking items to packing them securely.
- Maintaining a spotless and well-organized store area, following safety and cleanliness standards.
- Supporting other departments as required (because teamwork makes the dream work).
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Prior experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail—with a knack for spotting errors or misplaced items.
- Basic computer skills: you’re comfortable updating digital inventory records.
- Good communication skills for working with suppliers, colleagues, and drivers.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and be on your feet during your shift.
- A track record of reliability and punctuality.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Previous experience working in Al Quoz or a similar industrial setting.
- Knowledge of English (written and spoken); extra points for Arabic.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary and overtime opportunities.
- Supportive team with open-door management (seriously, your input matters).
- Clean, organized workspace with all the resources you need to do your job well.
- Stable, growing company with room to learn new skills and grow your career.
- Convenient location in Al Quoz, easily accessible by public transport.
- End-of-month team lunches and regular recognition for a job well done.
At the end of the day, you’ll leave knowing you’re a valued part of our team — helping things run seamlessly, one box and barcode at a time. If you enjoy bringing order out of chaos, let’s talk.
