What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily system health checks and resolving technical issues before they become headaches
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and security protocols across our diverse infrastructure
- Installing, configuring, and updating servers, networks, and software as needed
- Monitoring backups, performing regular disaster recovery tests, and ensuring company data is safe
- Collaborating with our helpdesk to tackle escalated support tickets — sometimes that means rolling up your sleeves for hands-on troubleshooting
- Documenting system changes and creating clear “how-to” guides for colleagues (no cryptic notes, please)
- Researching and recommending smart tech solutions as our company grows
- Supporting office moves, expansions, or tech refreshes — adaptability is key!
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Currently residing in the UAE (this is a dealbreaker due to work permissions!)
- Proven hands-on experience as a System Administrator or similar IT support role
- Comfortable with Windows and Linux environments; you’ve wrangled a server or two before
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (think DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Strong sense of responsibility — people rely on you to keep things running
- English proficiency; clear communication is essential every day
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in fast-paced environments or technology companies
