What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing technical drawings, designs, and specifications to ensure everything complies with latest standards and project goals
- Acting as the go-to resource for clarifying technical queries between site teams, designers, and contractors
- Preparing, organizing, and updating technical documents, shop drawings, and materials submittals
- Coordinating change requests, tracking approvals, and communicating adjustments in real time
- Supporting procurement by identifying required resources and providing clear documentation for materials and equipment
- Drafting and editing project progress reports, method statements, and quality documentation, so nothing falls through the cracks
- Collaborating in regular technical meetings—yes, your voice will be heard
- Spotting potential design-execution issues before they become expensive problems
- Keeping digital records tidy (and reminding others in the team to do the same)
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical office or engineering project environment
- Proficient with AutoCAD and solid understanding of technical documentation workflows
