About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Front-of-House Team Member (Waiter/Waitress) – Deira, Dubai
Ever walked into a restaurant and felt instantly at home? That feeling doesn't happen by accident. It's built by the people on the floor — the ones who remember how you like your karak, notice when your glass needs a refill, and make a busy Friday night feel effortless. We're putting together a front-of-house team in Deira, and we're looking for waiters and waitresses who genuinely enjoy taking care of people. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
About the Company
We're a growing hospitality group operating a lively, casual-dining restaurant in the heart of Deira — the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name and the lunch rush has its own rhythm. The team here is diverse, close-knit, and mostly long-tenured, which tells you something. We believe good service starts with a well-treated team, so we invest in our people the same way we'd want them to treat our guests. Friday evenings get hectic, sure, but they also come with a certain energy you won't find in a quiet office.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcome guests as they arrive, guide them to their tables, and set the tone for a great meal from the first hello.
- Take food and drink orders accurately — and know the menu well enough to make honest recommendations when someone can't decide.
- Serve dishes and beverages promptly, keeping an eye on tables throughout the meal so no one has to wave you down.
- Handle guest questions, dietary requests, and the occasional complaint with patience and a real willingness to fix things.
- Work with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing smoothly, especially during peak hours.
- Help with daily setup and closing duties — polishing cutlery, resetting tables, restocking service stations, and keeping your section clean and presentable.
- Process payments and coordinate with the cashier when needed.
What You'll Bring
Must-haves:
- A friendly, approachable manner and a genuine interest in hospitality — experience is welcome but attitude matters more.
- Ability to communicate comfortably in English; knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is a real plus with our guest mix.
- Physical stamina for standing and walking through full shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A team-first mindset — you'll be working shoulder to shoulder with people who count on you.
- Valid documentation or readiness to complete visa processing with our support.
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems or basic order-taking software.
- Multi-language skills beyond English.
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you — plenty of our best team members started with zero restaurant experience.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Salary of AED 2,800–3,000 per month, paid on time, every time.
- Visa sponsorship, accommodation, transportation, and medical insurance all provided — you won't be left figuring out the logistics on your own.
- Paid annual leave so you can actually rest and recharge.
- A supportive team culture where managers work the floor alongside you, not from behind a closed door.
- Real room to grow — several of our supervisors started as waiters.
- Meals provided during shifts (because nobody serves well on an empty stomach).
Look, restaurant work is demanding — there's no pretending otherwise. But it's also some of the most rewarding work out there when you're surrounded by the right people. If you're ready to bring your energy to a team that'll have your back, we'd genuinely like to meet you.
Please note: this recruitment company applies a job application fee.
